If I could sum up Amy and Marc’s wedding (which is not easy as it was so brilliant), I would have to choose incredible. It was a great day which was filled with family and friends, in fact, the whole day was planned with their guests, having everyone pitching in and coming together to really make this wedding the best day of Amy and Marc’s life. Making use of the beautiful natural surroundings nearby, Amy and Marc got creative and planned their wedding on a neighbouring field in Daventry.

Guests were treated to fun tractor rides (so cool!) and sat outside on perfectly places haystacks, cementing the natural and fun theme of the day. Many of the creative details came from friends and family too. Amy’s mum made the fabulous wedding cake and Marc’s mum created the wonderful flowers. Keeping it in the family, the bride and groom’s service celebrant was their close friend Segun (who did a rather excellent job).

In the evening the reception was held under a large bell tent which was decorated with glittering lights and natural wood beams and logs. I loved the ‘Just Married’ bunting that adorned the ceiling of the tent behind the newlyweds – it made a great photography background. Guests were treated to a full shindig of a party. Over 20 musicians came together to make one epic party which everyone thoroughly enjoyed, and it’s safe to say there may have been more than a few drinks consumed that night! One great flash of inspiration the couple had was to attach a camera to a (quite large) champagne bottle, which took snaps as people drank from it! Such a unique and creative way to capture memories.
